Grateful Resident on Pulver Road
Feb 13 07

Park County and Editor,

I want to thank all of you. I know you are under a state of emergency for Park County, but I really want to thank all of you in cleaning up our Pulver Rd. and Co. Rt. 90. I was so happy when I came home from work tonight and saw what a beautiful job was done. Not only can I get a fire truck up here, but I can get an ambulance up here side by side with the fire truck!!!!

I knew when I saw the snow traps who had come up and took a blade to the mess we had up here.... Thanks Don!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you notes are few and far and I want to at least be the one to put my hand on my heart, smile and say........ "A job well done..... thank you again."

PCSO Offers Response, Jail Tour
Dec 27 07

The coverage of the recent lawsuit settlement in the local newspaper has generated comments and opinions on the operation of the Park County Jail.

After reading many of these, it is obvious that a number of these are uninformed opinions and comments based on speculation and rumor.

Because we are proud of the work done by the Jail Division of the Park County Sheriff's Office, and have absolutely nothing to hide or cover up, I will gladly provide an in-depth tour of our facility to any adult resident of Park County at any time.

Feel free to call me direct at 719.836.4104 to schedule a tour. It will be necessary for you to provide a valid state-issued identification and submit to a check for warrants before being admitted into the secure facility.

I will answer any questions that I am able to and open all areas of the jail and quite possibly change some minds about what happens in the large grey building on PCR 16 in Fairplay.

Lieutenant Daniel Muldoon
Jail Administrator
Park County Sheriff's Office
