The Board of County Commissioners has authorized the closure of the Clerk and Recorder's Fairplay office for all but election business on election day, November 7, 2006.

The resolution passed by the BOCC on October 18th cites expected heavy turnout for the general election as the reason for the limitation of other business, and concludes that the closure of the Fairplay office will be in the best interests of Park County.
