In accordance with provisions of Section 1-5-205, Colorado State Statutes, notice is hereby given for a General Election to be held in Park County Tuesday, November 7, 2006.

Absentee ballots may be obtained from the Fairplay Clerk & Recorder's Office, 501 Main St. or requested in writing by sending your name, physical address, mailing address (if different), date of birth, last 4 digits of your Social Security number and your signature to the Clerk & Recorder at PO Box 220, Fairplay, CO 80440, or by FAX at 719-836-4348. Absentee ballots may be deposited at the Fairplay Clerk & Recorder's Office or the Bailey Motor Vehicle Office, 59865 Hwy 285, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, or returned by mail. On Tuesday November 7th, Election Day, Bailey will accept ballots from 7:00am to 5:00pm, and the Fairplay office will accept ballots from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Ballots must be received by the Fairplay Clerk's office no later than 7:00pm Tuesday, November 7th in order to be counted in this election.

Early Voting will begin October 23rd and continue through November 3rd at the Fairplay Clerk & Recorder's Office, 501 Main St., and the Bailey Motor Vehicle Office, 59865 Hwy 285, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
