Deadline to affiliate with a party to participate in the February 5, 2008 caucus is December 5, 2007. If you become a Delegate from your caucus, you will attend the county assembly to choose the party's candidates for the 2008 commissioner election. (Nov 13 2007)

Unofficial counts pending validation of unsigned or incorrectly signed ballots.
Sales Tax 1A lost 60% to 40% . . . . . School Tax 3A lost 70% to 30%
Preliminary "Unofficial" Vote Counts and Percentages

The expansion of anti-TABOR* language in the 2007 ballot question increasing taxes was intentional, according to Park County Attorney Lee Phillips. (October 5, 2007)


[Commissioner McKay] went on to explain that he immediately contacted the County Attorney on Monday when the question of exempting all other county revenues from spending restrictions, in addition to the new tax, was brought to his attention. (September 18 - 19, 2007)

VOTER REGISTRATION FORM
Sep 21,
2007		 Last day to file pro/con comments pertaining to local ballot issues with the designated election official in order to be included in the issue mailing.
Oct 9,
2007		 Last day to register to vote for the coordinated election.
Oct 9-Nov 6,
2007		 Elector may complete a sworn affidavit for a change of address in the County Clerk's Office stating that he/she moved within the county no later than the 30th day before the election.
Oct 12 - 22,
2007		 The designated election official conducting a November 6 mail ballot election shall send a mail ballot packet to each eligible elector.

needs to have your current residential and mailing address.

THE POST OFFICE WILL NOT FORWARD BALLOTS
Make sure you contact the Elections Division if you will be away during the election period.
