Aug 26, 2008 | Last day for a write-in candidate to file an Affidavit of Intent for the general election.

Sep 2, 2008 | Last day for secretary of state to compile, total the returns and order appropriate recounts of the
primary election.

Sep 2, 2008 | Last day an interested party may request a recount of the primary election at their own expense.

Sep 11, 2008 | Contribution and Expenditures report due for municipal and county committees active in the 2008
Primary and/or General Election.

Sep 19, 2008 | Last day to file pro/con comments pertaining to local ballot issues with the designated election
official in order to be included in the issue mailing.

Sep 20, 2008 | County clerk or designated election official to hold election judge school of instruction.

Oct 3, 2008 | Ballots for the general election must be printed and in possession of the designated election
official.

Oct 3, 2008 | Last day to mail notice of election ballot issues.

Oct 7, 2008 | Elector may complete a sworn affidavit for a change of address in the County Clerk's Office stating
