Post Park County Republican Debate May 24, 2012
Park County Republican Central Committee will be hosting a candidates debate at the Crow HIll Firehouse on Thursday May 24th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The doors will open at 6:30.

The debate will include the following candidates:

Commissioner District 1 Candidates:
Gary Bartel & Mike Brazell

State Representative Candidates HD 60:
Steve Collins & Jim Wilson

JD11 District Attorney Candidates:
Thom LeDoux & Dagna Van Der Jagt

The debates were taped by the owner of [another website] and will be posted in the very near future. Regardless of your opinion of that website, these recordings are a real service to the comminuty members unable to attend the debates. When they're posted I will provide a link here.

Side Bar: Dick Elsner should have someone try to get thru his arrogance and convince him that he really should not stand behind a candidate nodding or shaking his head at the things being said. Talk about non-subtly endorsing a candidate . . .

I don't think these debates do any good except to get the cheerleaders on each side exercised. You have two distinct groups of voters and they will never change their minds. I have learned to avoid anyone the "crazies" are supporting. Beyond that, just skip the games they play while campaigning and you'll make better choices. During the last election the debates just turned into a circus with nobody agreeing on what happened at the end. Pointless. Most undecided people are avoiding them now.
