From Southern Oregon's Mail Tribune

The second time the Earth Liberation Front members allegedly placed time-delayed incendiary devices at the Whittle Avenue office, the resulting fire caused about $500,000 in damage and put Medford with the likes of Vail, Colo., on the ecoterror arson map.

I was just kidding about Gitmo. Sort of. I'm sick and tired of certain small radical groups of people (gangsters) thinking it's ok for them to blow things up, destroy other people's property, wreck somebody else's life, and even kill people in order to force their narrow view on everyone else. That's how these people think - that they're somehow entitled to cause whatever destruction they can come up with in order to force their thinking on others. That makes them terrorists. They have no respect for the property or rights of others - only themselves.

By Valerie Richardson
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
May 20, 2006

DENVER -- A federal grand jury has indicted four suspects in the 1998 firebombing at Vail Mountain, then the costliest ecoterrorism attack in U.S. history and a crime that once appeared as though it would never be solved.
U.S. Attorney William J. Leone announced yesterday that the grand jury had indicted Chelsea Dawn Gerlach, 29; Stanislas Gregory Meyerhoff, 28; Josephine Sunshine Overaker, 31; and Rebecca Jeanette Rubin, 33.
