... Fire Weather Watch in effect from Thursday morning through
Thursday evening for wind and low relative humidity for fire
weather zone 205 below 7500 feet...

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Fire
Weather Watch below 7500 feet for wind and low relative humidity,
which is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday
evening.

* Affected area... in Colorado, fire weather zone 205 Colorado
River headwaters below 7500 feet.

* Winds... southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph.

* Relative humidity... 11 to 16 percent.

* Impacts... new fire starts may be difficult or impossible to
control due to fast rates of spread. Outdoor burning is
strongly discouraged.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
