The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a High Wind
Warning, which is in effect until 3 PM MST this afternoon.

* Winds... southwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph on valley
floors, and upwards of 80 mph above timberline.

* Impacts... trees could be blown down and a few power outages may
result. Travel will be difficult for high profile vehicles. The
high winds in combination with a brief burst of heavy snow may

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
