Winter Weather Advisory - NE Park County

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon Wednesday to 5 am
MST Thursday...

* what... snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches
expected.

* Where... portions of central, north central and northeast
Colorado. This includes the cities of Denver, Boulder and Fort
Collins.

* When... from noon Wednesday to 5 am MST Thursday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. The
hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute. The cold
wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on
exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

northeast plains east of Interstate 25.

* Where... portions of central, north central and northeast
Colorado. This includes the cities of Denver, Boulder and Fort
Collins.

* When... from noon Wednesday to 5 am MST Thursday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. The
cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite
on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

freezing drizzle and snow this morning, transitioning to all
snow this afternoon. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5
inches. Cold windchill readings as low as 25 below overnight.

* Where... the foothills, urban corridor and plains of north
central and northeast Colorado.

* When... until 5 am MST Thursday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions as early
as this morning. Conditions will become more hazardous
throughout the day to impact the evening commute. The cold wind
chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed
skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

inches. Highest amounts across the northern and western part of
Metro Denver generally north of I 70. Cold windchill readings as
low as 25 below overnight.

* Where... the foothills, urban corridor and plains of north
central and northeast Colorado.

* When... until 5 am MST Thursday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions for the
evening commute especially along and north of I-70 in Metro
Denver and along I-76 northeast of Denver. The morning commute
could also be slick in spots very cold conditions overnight. The
cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite
on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
